Zurich Canada is currently looking for a post-secondary student for an internship/co-op position to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives within our Management Liability underwriting team in Financial Lines.
 
You will work under direct supervision and perform requested tasks alongside experienced professionals.

What you will do

 

• Support financial and risk analysis for publicly traded, privately held, and not-for-profit customers
• Work closely and diligently with underwriters to facilitate renewal and new business quotes
• Respond to inquiries from colleagues quickly and completely, providing status updates
• Support special projects as needed


Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table:

 

• Currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in business administration, commerce, risk management, insurance, or a related field
• Third- or fourth-year student preferred
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Bilingualism in French is an asset

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Experience with Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, punctual, professional, and able to work independently
